Meet The Staff

Robert A. Strzinek, Ph.D., D.O.
CEO & Principal Investigator

Dr. Strzinek has been involved in medicine in one form or another since the mid-60’s.  He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1964 from Abilene Christian University and then earned his Masters Degree and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from University of North Texas in 1970.

Following his tenure in post-doctoral research as a National Research Council Post-Doctoral Fellowship recipient at NASA Manned Space Craft Center in Houston, Dr. Strzinek served as Director of Research and Development at Helena Laboratories while teaching biochemistry at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  Before long, Dr. Strzinek began his medical training at the University of North Texas – Health Science Center of Fort Worth. Dr. Strzinek completed his internship at the DFW Medical Center in 1979.

Today, Dr. Strzinek is board certified in Family Medicine and has operated Texas FamiliCare Medical Center in the mid-cities area since 1979. The doctor is a Christian and cares deeply about the welfare of his patients. His hobbies include golf and spending time with family and friends.

Lynette Hart
Director of Business Operations

Lynette joined Protenium in 2009, coming from an operations background in non-profit and small business start-ups.  A key member of our management team, Lynette takes care of the financial and day to day operations for Protenium.  Her passion for streamlining efficiencies along with strong relationship and database management skills have positively impacted the flow of our site.  Lynette gains a great deal of satisfaction from positively supporting those she works with as well as the patients who trust us with their care.  Away from the office, Lynette and her husband enjoy spending time with their friends and family – especially their two grandsons!

Christina Eizensmits, MA, CCRP
Research Manager

Christina is Dr. Strzinek’s committed long-time research manager.  Hired after graduating from Arlington Medical Institute, she has been an integral part of Dr. Strzinek’s team since 2003.  As dedicated Research Coordinator, Christina was granted the designation of Certified Clinical Research Professional through the Society of Clinical Research Associates.  Christina and her husband Mike have 2 children, who bring them much joy.  While not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family and working out. Christina is a key member of our management team and we are lucky to have her by our side.

Angelica Avila, BBA, CRC
Patient Recruiter

Angelica joined Protenium with over 10 years in the medical field.  Research was a new frontier that she quickly acclimated to and it is clear that she enjoys speaking and interacting with our patients each day.  She has made a significant impact on  patient recruitment and marketing for Protenium. When Angelica is not on the phone at work she is outdoors with her husband and two girls. They enjoy hiking, camping, and canoeing. Angelica has just finished her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tarleton State University. Angelica is a valued member of the Protenium team.

Gabriel Galindo, BS, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator

Gabriel’s Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Analysis lead him to start his research career. He began his research journey helping to conduct research studies in psychology. Twelve years and many indications later, Gabriel says that working with patients is what drives him to put his best foot forward. Gabriel truly cares about the patients who are in his studies. When Gabriel has a bit of free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids while they play disc golf, golf, and swim. Gabriel has a never ending smile and we are happy to call him a member of our team.

Marcus Henderson, CMA, CRC
Clinical Research Coordinator

Twelve years ago, Marcus started his research career as an assistant for an endocrinology clinic. Within just six months’ time, he became a Clinical Research Coordinator in Dallas. His experience in research has taught him how important clinical research is to our community. A passion for his son and Mexican food leads his life outside of work. Marcus and his son will probably be found outdoors enjoying biking, playing catch, or jogging at the park. Marcus says he is a true believer in what you put out in the world, you will receive it back in an abundance. This moral leads him to volunteer and participate in charity events.  Marcus has a contagious laugh and we are glad to have him as a part of our team.
